All Wiki Articles

The wiki articles provide you with short descriptions of EAM topics which are linked to relevant files and external links

 

All Files

All files are freely available and can be used in accordance with the rights provided in the assigned Creative Commons license.

To download a file, please go to 'All Files'.

  • By clicking on the name of the file, it will be downloaded. 
  • By clicking on the -Button next to file name, you will be able to view the meta data of the file.

 

All Links

Also, you can view relevant links by going to 'All Links'.

If you have any remarks with regards to Files, Links or Topics, please leave a comment on the corresponding page (you need to be registered to be able to leave comments).

1. How to create a new wiki article

  • Please go to Wiki Articles.
  • Press the "+ New Topic" button and create a new topic.
  • Afterwards, click on your new topic to fill in a short description, the author and synonyms.  
  • If applicable, please indicate the used sources.
  • Please don't forget to add the new topic to the paper it belongs to. 

 

2. How to upload a file

  • Please make sure that you have the necessary rights for the file you are uploading (image credits, etc.)
  • Please choose one of the creative commons licenses that should apply to your content:
  • Go to All Files and use the  button upload your files. 
  • The smart upoad will suggest some matching topics. Please choose the relevant topics or add additional ones.
  • After the upload is completed, you will find your file in the list of files. 
  • Please press the -button to access the metadata of the file and add the following information to improve the accessibility of your content:
    • Language
    • FileType (Conference Paper, Whitepaper, Teaching Slides)
    • Authors
    • Event
    • Date of the Event or Publication
    • Classification (Case Study, Empirical Results, etc.)
  • Additionally, a short summary or abstract can be added when pressing the button  in the top right corner.

 

3. How to create a new link

  • Please go to Links in workspace EAM-Initiative.
  • Press the "+ New Link" button and create a new topic.
  • A pop-up window will appear where you need to fill in the name of the link, the URL of the link and the type of link.
  • Afterwards press "Create new Link" to create the new link. 
  • Now you will be directed to the page of the link, where you can fill in the meta data related to link. This includes:
    • Authors
    • Language
    • Year of Event or Publication
    • Event of Publication / Journal Name / Publisher
    • Location
    • Topics
  • Additionally, a short summary or abstract can be added when pressing the button  in the top right corner.

 

4. How to update your profile page

  • Please go to your profil via the -button in the top right corner.
  • Fill in the your profile, including your picture as well as your LinkedIn, Xing and Website links.
